Nuestro bolet\u00edn ha dado cuenta, el martes pasado, de este momento importante de la Congregaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>El P. Lombardi es un hombre conocido y reconocido, no solo por sus hermanos jesuitas sino en el mundo de los medios religiosos a nivel internacional. Despu\u00e9s de 25 a\u00f1os, ha tenido una presencia mayor en la direcci\u00f3n de Radio Vaticana y, luego por una d\u00e9cada, ha sido tambi\u00e9n el portavoz del Vaticano, director de la oficina de prensa. El pasado 31 de julio, ha terminado sus responsabilidades. Su antiguo empleador, el Vaticano, no ha perdido tiempo para proponerle otro compromiso. Ha sido nombrado presidente de la Fundaci\u00f3n Joseph Ratzinger \u2013 Benedetto XVI. &#8211; Esta organizaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 orientada a apoyar la investigaci\u00f3n teol\u00f3gica principalmente de tres maneras: ofreciendo becas de estudios doctorales para trabajos de avanzada en el campo teol\u00f3gico, otorgando premios anuales por el conjunto de la obra de ciertos te\u00f3logos contempor\u00e1neos y organizando un simposio anual. Los recursos financieros de la fundaci\u00f3n provienen de los derechos de autor por la venta de las obras teol\u00f3gicas, tanto antes como despu\u00e9s de su elecci\u00f3n como papa.<\/p>\n<p>\u00bfPor qu\u00e9 el Padre Lombardi ha sido escogido para presidir esta fundaci\u00f3n? Porque ha conocido muy de cerca al cardenal Ratzinger. Diariamente, ha trabajo con \u00e9l durante siete a\u00f1os de pontificado del cardenal, quien lleg\u00f3 a ser el papa Benedicto XVI. Ha apreciado su trabajo en el campo teol\u00f3gico y se siente feliz de poder apoyar la continuaci\u00f3n del compromiso del papa em\u00e9rito. Adem\u00e1s, el jesuita italiano reconoce que la presidencia de la Fundaci\u00f3n Ratzinger no es una actividad de tiempo completo.
