A continuaci\u00f3n se abordan varios temas breves como la elecci\u00f3n de los oficiales y de aquellos que har\u00e1n de secretarios para la eficiencia del trabajo conjunto. Tras confirmar que est\u00e1n presentes todos los delegados que han de estar presentes, la Congregaci\u00f3n se declarar\u00e1 en sesi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El primer tema es la elecci\u00f3n del nuevo Superior General. La elecci\u00f3n es precedida por cuatro d\u00edas de \u201crecogida de informaci\u00f3n\u201d que llamamos \u201cmurmuratio.\u201d A cada miembro de la Congregaci\u00f3n se le permite preguntar a cualquier otro miembro de la Congregaci\u00f3n sobre cualquier particular miembro de la Compa\u00f1\u00eda de Jes\u00fas que pueda ser apto para ser Superior General. No puede haber campa\u00f1as o presiones de ning\u00fan tipo. Ning\u00fan Jesuita debe buscar el cargo para s\u00ed mismo o para ning\u00fan otro. Todo lo que un delegado puede hacer es pedir informaci\u00f3n sobre este o aquel jesuita. Por ejemplo, un delegado puede preguntar a un jesuita de una regi\u00f3n determinada sobre alg\u00fan compa\u00f1ero de dicha regi\u00f3n. \u00bfCu\u00e1les han sido sus destinos anteriores? \u00bfcu\u00e1les son sus cualidades? \u00bfCu\u00e1ntos idiomas habla? \u00bfTendr\u00e1 las habilidades de diplomacia y de discreci\u00f3n necesarias para este cargo?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Al final de estos cuatro d\u00edas de conversaci\u00f3n entre los miembros de la Congregaci\u00f3n, un jesuita es elegido para hablar a los miembros de la Congregaci\u00f3n sobre su tarea de elegir al nuevo Superior General. Entonces, se realiza un voto secreto por escrito, se recogen y se cuentan. El equipo de votaci\u00f3n electr\u00f3nica que se utiliza habitualmente para el resto de la Congregaci\u00f3n no ser\u00e1 usado para esta elecci\u00f3n.
